Smart Giving

When humanitarian crises strike and many people’s lives are in danger, most people want to help in one way or another. While relief agencies and their local partners are the experts who are best able to design and deliver aid programs, their work is only possible if it is adequately funded. This means that what is most urgently needed in times of humanitarian crises is money. No other type of donation can match its impact.

But not everybody has money to donate. Hence this page, which is full of fun ideas for group fundraising activities, as well as the repurposing of material goods into creative items to be sold for a cause.

When following a few common-sense guidelines, turning good intentions into actions, and objects into cash can be both fun and effective.
