Canada Students organize Fundraiser to help Puerto Rico victims

Tears of joy and gratitude as I stopped by today at our school to collect part of the donations. Special Thanks to 8th and 9th. Grade students of Champion School for your efforts, time, dedication and support, to the entire Staff and Teachers and the younger students for taking the time to write letters of hope to our children in Puerto Rico, thank you, and to you my friend Kathy Perley, thanks for that hug. I truly needed that. To Betty Fieguth, Manager at Bank of Montreal, thank you for your donation. Thank you, thank you Trudi N Jack Alsgard, from EQUS, Thank YOU Claresholm Pharmacy for your discount (giftcard) so I could purchase more medicine to bring to Puerto Rico.

Because of all of you, I am able to make my first trip to Puerto Rico, with medicine, batteries, flashlights and food. I know its not as much, but its a start and I will continue to do my best to bring more supplies home. We already have a second trip schedule with more donations to drop of, so yes we are still accepting more donations. To all of my friends here in Canada once again Thank you. We couldn’t do this without you!
